About the Author
Christopher Moseley worked for two decades for the BBC World Service, specialising in Baltic affairs, and is now a freelance translator and editor. He is the author of Colloquial Estonian (second edition, 2008) and the general editor of the Routledge/Curzon Encyclopedia of the World's Endangered Languages (2007) and the general editor (with R.E. Asher) of the Atlas of the World's Languages (second edition, 2007). Dace Praulins is a Lecturer in Latvian at the University of Glasgow.
Review of the previous edition: 'An hour a day for a month and it's under your belt - I think that's hard to beat in its genre, and textbooks for much more widely spoken languages often fall far short of this standard.' Amazon customer
