How can I place my first order?
Placing an order with hoerjuwel is easy. First you will need to browse or search for the audiobooks you would like to order.
If you want to order an item from hoerjuwel, click the "Add to Cart" button on the item's product detail page or at the categories overview. It puts the selected audiobook in your shopping cart. You can access the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking "Shopping Cart" at the upper part of the right navigation bar. You will be lead to create your account as a new customer or to log-in in an existing account. It is also possible to order without registration. In the next step enter your address.
If your cart contains all of the items you want to order, click on your shopping basket. Take a moment to review all the items you have placed in your shopping cart. If you decide you don't want to purchase a particular item, click the "Delete" Check Box to delete it from your shopping cart. If you want to buy muliple quantities of an item just change the number in the quantity box. Don't forget to click the "Update" button at the bottom of the cart - your changes will be saved only then. When you are ready to place an order for everything in your shopping cart, click the "Next" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.
Tell us where you would like to ship your order. You can also name us a different address for delivery. If you are living in U.S. please remember to enter the full ZIP code including state. Please let us know how you would like to pay. Please accept afterwards our general business conditions.
If you have chosen credit card payment enter your credit card details. Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Confirm Order" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. Just wait for some days and have fun with your new audiobooks and language courses.
How long does it take to get my audiobooks?
In Europe it takes approximately 5 days if the audio book is immediately available. It is always indicated at the product's detail page. Please allow 14 to 21 days for delivery to non-European countries. Normally we send our audiobooks by airmail.
Do I have to pay customs duties?
You may be subject to customs or import duties. They are due if the delivery has arrived in your country (only outside EU, e.g. Suisse, U.S., Japon). These duties cannot covered by hoerjuwel. We have no influence on this and cannot predict its amount. Please inform yourself at the local customs office.
How do I get my customer number and a password?
You will create your account and choose your password. At your next visit, you can log-in and don't need to fill in your shipping address etc. again. You may change your password at any time. Make sure you write your password down somewhere so that you remember it the next time you place an order.
I have changed my mind and I don't like to buy this audiobook. May I return this audiobook?
At hoerjuwel you can purchase without risk. During 14 days after delivery you may return the audiobook for a full refund. These items must be unopened and still in their plastic wrap. You have to pay the shipping cost for return. Of course the paid amount - reduced by occuring international bank transfer costs if applicable - will be refunded.
I have got a damaged, defective or incorrect item. What shall I do?
If something is wrong with an order that is being fulfilled by hoerjuwel, we certainly want to help you. If the defect is obvious (i.e. scratches, defective covers, wrong item) please send us an e-mail message immediately, at least during 14 days after delivery. Please let us know other defects immediately after its discovery. Hoerjuwel grants you a 24-month warranty. If a defect occurs, we will ask you to send us the audiobook for checking and we will exchange it for another copy without defects. In case of non-deliverable audiobooks we will refund the paid amount.
