Having been a sound engineer for various broadcasters including Radio Berlin International, Berliner Rundfunk (radio), Radio Brandenburg, Fritz (radio) and Radio 1, I was fortunate to be able to work together with the very best voice talents from all over the world at these stations.

Literature has inspired me since my earliest youth and I know the audio book market inside and out.

What that ultimately means is that we can offer you a wide spectrum of audio books, all of which I have personally handpicked.

I studied business and social sciences in Berlin and worked as a project leader for the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) for ten years. I mainly take care of the business end of things at hoerjuwel.

I also use audio books myself in order to improve my knowledge of a number of foreign languages. Therefore, my personal objective is to make sure that you will find an interesting selection of audio books in many different languages here in our shop.
